About us

Many organisations want to live their values, create inclusive cultures, and see their leaders make a real impact. But it can be hard to translate good intentions into action. Leaders can feel under pressure, unsure how to build trust across difference, and frustrated when strategies don’t deliver meaningful change.

That’s where On The Level comes in.

Led by Claire Ebrey, we help purposeful organisations build inclusive cultures, develop impactful leaders, and create strategies that turn values into action. Through tailored solutions and hands-on support, we work with organisations to:

  • Build inclusive cultures where people from all backgrounds can thrive.

  • Develop leaders who inspire and make a difference.

  • Align strategy with values so purpose translates into results.

We believe that by enabling individuals from all walks of life to reach their full potential, organisations become more effective. In turn, this leads to stronger businesses, more vibrant teams, and communities that prosper.

Claire brings considerable expertise in purposeful leadership, diversity and inclusion, and cultivating strong professional networks. She combines this with a straightforward, supportive approach that helps leaders feel confident and equipped to make lasting change.

We also bring together a brilliant network of associates, all industry-leaders in their respective fields. This ensures that our clients receive unparalleled expertise tailored to their individual needs, whether through research, training, facilitation, or strategic consultancy.

Beyond her consultancy work, Claire is a passionate advocate for positive change. She co-founded Pride in Leadership, the UK’s LGBTQ+ leadership network, and contributes her time and expertise as a trustee for Forever Manchester, Greater Manchester’s community foundation, and as a volunteer with Stockport Race Equality Partnership (SREP), which improves outcomes for ethnically diverse communities and give a voice to some of the most disenfranchised people in the borough.

Recognised for her commitment to leadership and innovation, Claire won the Business Desk’s Diversity and Inclusion Leader of the Year 2025, was named a Northern Gamechanger, and was included on the DIVA Powerlist 2025, which celebrates “visionaries blazing a trail for LGBTQIA+ women and non-binary people”.
